The mung beans should only be left in water the first day. The following days till it is ready you just wash them in cold water and then leave them. Mustard we are trying to keep moist all the time.
The mung is already changing a lot. Mustard is a little slower but you can see some few seeds are starting to sprout
We are sprouting mung and mustard just to see how it grows and how long it takes. Mung beans and mustard seeds are good because they sprout quickly and you can see everyday how they change.
It is really easy. We put cotton at the bottom of the pot and soak it in water and put the mustard seeds and the mung you just put in a container and then cover with water

The idea is that you buy a plant, and along comes a creature. This little creature lives in the plant and all the basic information you need to know about your plant is told through this. Basically this creature is only supposed to trigger the imagination of the child to make him or her see the play potential in the plant.
