looking at ways of planting..

Hanging pots made using coconuts and jute, using a macreme technique. i placed he coconuts so that he excess water from the coconut on top wold fall into the one below, and excess from the one at the bottom would be soaked in by the jute itself and hopefully not drip to the floor. this makes the hanger ideal for indoor situations.
i still need to test it by growing an appropriate plant in it.

bhindi plants are said to grow extremely quickly and are fun. we set out to grow our own!


Mustard...

The mustard seeds were sprouting allright but it was not really happening as I intended so now I have put some new seeds outside so we will see what happens now

Sketching and writing...

Today we have been sketching and coming up with ideas for the first

creatures we are going to give away. For peppermint and strawberry.

We are continuously researching on our plants and writing the

information texts.

Yesterday we got cloth from rc puram and spend some time working

on some coconuts figuring out how we could use them and we are still finding out

Lunch and mustard

The mung beans have now turned into lunch and the mustard seeds needs to be planted outside. I just tried to sprout them in cotton because i have done it before at home with Karse seeds because they seemed similar but they are not...

Plan for today...

We are gathering and writing down information about our plants now and making sort of a library of them. Nikita has taken pictures of each one with the name and date of purchase. Today we will be looking at coconuts and figure out how we can use them as pots for some of the plants and afterwards we are going to R.C Puram to get cloth and other material for the creatures.
